Wildcard Weekend:

Statline: 15 CAR, 63 RUSH YARDS, 1 RUSH TD, 1 REC, 3 REC YARDS

The Seattle Seahawks did their best to establish the run in their Wildcard matchup against the Niners however the Niners stalwart defense proved to be too much to overcome. Kenneth Walker III did his best against a monster Niners defensive line and managed to even bully his way into the end zone for the Seahawks first touchdown. Ultimately due to the score, Walker III was faded out from the game script as the Seahawks faced a huge deficit in the loss. Kenneth Walker III’s season ended in San Francisco, but his future as a Seahawk looks bright and you can expect him to continue to improve as the RB1 in Seattle.

Week 18:

Statline: 29 CAR, 114 RUSH YARDS

Kenneth Walker III and the Seattle Seahawks managed to pull out a crucial win in OT against the Los Angeles Rams 19-16 as they propelled themselves into the final playoff spot in the NFC (after Green Bay’s loss to the Detroit Lions). Kenneth Walker saw a ton of work on the ground with 29 carries totaling 114 rushing yards, and finished off a very strong rookie campaign. The Seahawks will face a stout 49ers defense in the Wildcard round, but expect Kenneth Walker III to continue to be a focal point of their offense.

Week 17:

Statline: 23 CAR, 133 RUSH YARDS, 1 REC, 12 REC YARDS

Kenneth Walker III exploded onto the scene in the Seahawks Week 17 win over the New York Jets. Walker III had a monster 60 yard run on his second carry of the game and dominated the Jets at the line of scrimmage to the tune of 133 rushing yards. Healthy and looking spry, Walker III will look to send the Seahawks to the playoffs with a win over the Los Angeles Rams (if the Packers lose to the Lions as well).

Week 16:

Statline: 26 CAR, 107 RUSH YARDS, 2 REC, -2 REC YARDS

Unfortunately for the Seattle Seahawks, they couldn’t figure out the hometown Kansas City Chiefs, losing 24-10 and falling out of playoff contention with a 7-8 record. While the Seahawks are still on the bubble, they’re going to need a lot of help to have a chance at the playoffs. Kenneth Walker III did his part on Saturday afternoon, getting the ball 26 times and delivering 107 yards on the ground as the only bright spot for Seattle in the loss. Walker finally looked healthy after sitting out a couple of games due to an ankle injury and continues to be part of the running for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Week 15:

Statline: 12 CAR, 47 RUSH YARDS, 4 REC, 32 REC YARDS

Walker and the offense did all they could against the NFL’s best overall defense but they could only muster 70 yards of rushing on a team that only yields 74.4 on the ground each game. For Kenneth Walker’s sake, he gave a great effort against the 49ers’ suffocating defense with 12 carries for 47 yards to go with four completions for another 32 yards. Unfortunately, the loss drops Walker’s Seahawks to 7-7 and into the seventh spot in the NFC, just outside of the sixth and final playoff spot.

Week 14:

Statline: Injured (DNP)

Kenneth Walker III continues to nurse an ankle injury he suffered against the Rams in Week 13. The good news is that it looks like he’ll be ready to go against the 49ers in a huge divisional matchup that has playoff implications on Thursday Night Football. Look forward to seeing Kenneth Walker III back on the field in Week 15.

Week 13:

Statline: 3 CAR, 36 RUSH YARDS

Kenneth Walker III’s Seattle Seahawks fought out a tough 27-23 victory of the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon to avoid a three-game losing streak and move to 7-5 and second place in the NFC West. Unfortunately for Walker, he sustained an ankle injury in the second quarter after rushing for 36 yards only three carries for a hefty 12 yards per carry. Erring on the side of caution, the Seahawks decided to hold the rookie running back out the remainder of the game, ending it for him after two quarters.

Week 12:

Statline: 14 CAR, 26 RUSH YARDS, 2 RUSH TDS, 1 REC, 13 REC YARDS

The Seattle Seahawks and rookie running back Kenneth Walker III couldn’t hold on Sunday afternoon in Seattle as the Las Vegas Raiders came into town and stole the victory with a 40-34 overtime win. Walker tried his best to get the running game going but continuously ran into the Raiders’ suffocating run defense that held the Seahawks to a mere 65 yards on the ground, including a minuscule 2.8 yards a carry. Walker didn’t fare much better himself with 14 rushes and only 26 yards, however, he did punch the ball into the end zone two times, bringing his season total to nine. Walker and the Seahawks won’t have it any easier next week when they face the fifth-best rushing defense in the Los Angeles Rams.

Week 11:

Statline:  BYE WEEK

Week 10:

Statline: 10 CAR, 17 RUSH YARDS, 6 REC, 55 REC YARDS

After winning four games in a row, the Seattle Seahawks and running back Kenneth Walker III finally lost, 21-16 when they played in Germany against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. For the first time in a while, Walker not only didn’t reach at least 80 yards rushing but failed to score a touchdown for the first time in 5 games although the field was a bit mucky as several players slipped on the grass at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. Unfortunately, Walker could not get going on the ground as he would end the game with 10 carries for a season-low 17 yards on the ground. The one silver lining Walker can take away from this game is that he had his best day as a receiver with six receptions for 55 yards on eight targets.

Week 9:

Statline: 26 CAR, 109 RUSH YARDS, 2 RUSH TD, 3 REC, 20 REC YARDS

The Seattle Seahawks and rookie running back Kenneth Walker III continue to shock the league as they won again on Sunday, beating the Arizona Cardinals 31-21 on the road. Walker has not stopped churning out yards or touchdowns since taking over the RB spot from Rashad Penny in Week 5 as he put up another 100-yard game with 109 yards on 26 carries. With another two TDs on the ground Sunday afternoon, Walker now has eight over five games, including a score in five straight contests.

Week 8:

Statline: 18 CAR, 51 RUSH YARDS, 1 RUSH TD, 1 REC, 1 REC YARD

The Seattle Seahawks and running back Kenneth Walker moved to a surprising 5-3 late Sunday afternoon as they beat the visiting New York Giants 27-13. Kenneth Walker III didn’t have nearly as big of a game as his last few contests but he still wore down the Giants’ offense with 18 carries and 51 yards including a 16-yard TD run with 5:22 left to put the game out of reach. He has now scored a TD in all of his starts and has one now in four consecutive games. Walker and the Seahawks will face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9, a team that Walker rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on back in Week 6.
